My
Story

From Writing 100 Songs to Building a Life Around Creativity

Creativity isn't just a skill- it's a calling. Growing up in Jersey City and spending time in the vibrant energy of New York City, I was surrounded by a world of art, culture, and endless possibilities. That energy left a thumbprint on me, sparking a deep passion for self-expression and storytelling. Without access to formal music lessons, I relied on grit, imagination, and an unshakable drive to carve my own path. By the age of 7, I set a goal to write 100 songs, igniting a love for music that has fueled everything I do today. That passion eventually led me to Berklee College of Music, where I earned my degree in Contemporary Writing & Production and Music Business, and further deepened my understanding of songwriting, production, artistry, and creative development.

But my story doesn't stop at music. My passion for storytelling, artistry, and creative expression led me to explore new creative worlds. I discovered that supporting artists behind the scenes is as equally meaningful as creating myself. Whether through artist support, music coaching, creative direction, or helping someone bring an idea fully to life, I'm drawn to work that makes creativity feel tangible, empowering, and deeply human.

Through my work with Shea Rose, I helped support and amplify her artistic vision through intentional storytelling and creative direction. With JVK, I brought bold, outside-the-box ideas to life, including a branded tattoo activation that turned fans into walking promotion at Boston Calling Festival. In my role as a Program Coordinator Consultant for The Folk Collective at Club Passim, I helped create spaces centered around artistry, creativity, and community. Today, I continue this work with the We Make Noise Boston Chapter and by supporting artists like Naomi Westwater and Léana through artist support, release strategy, booking, and creative development.

Whether through music, mentorship, or artist support, my goal is always the same: helping creativity come fully to life.

Mission

Empowering Creativity. Amplifying Voices. Building Meaningful Artistry.

My mission is to help artists and creatives strengthen their voice, trust their ideas, and bring their creativity fully to life.

Whether through music, coaching, or artist support, I believe creativity is about more than just making things...it’s about expression, connection, growth, and having the courage to be seen. It’s about breaking norms, pushing boundaries, and telling stories that leave a lasting mark.

Everything I do is rooted in these core values:

Ways We Can Work Together

Music Coaching

"I'm writing songs, but they still don't sound like me yet"

Whether you're learning songwriting, production, vocals, piano, or theory, my coaching is designed to help artists and creatives strengthen their skills without losing the emotional core of why they create in the first place.

Artist Support

"I know I have something worth sharing, but I have no idea how to organize or present it."

From release strategy and booking support to EPKs and creative direction, I help artists navigate the behind-the-scenes side of creativity in a way that feels intentional, organized, and aligned with their artistry

Artist Development

"I don't just want to release music, I want to build an artistic world that actually means something"

Artist development is about more than promotion, it's about identity, vision, confidence, storytelling, and long-term artistic growth. Together, we focus on developing artistry that feels honest, intentional, and lasting.

What Drives My Work

The philosophy behind the music, mentorship, and artist support.

Music has always been more than sound to me...it's identity, storytelling, emotion, and connection. That belief shapes everything I do, whether I'm creating music, coaching students, or supporting artists behind the scenes.

I'm inspired by people who create fearlessly; the ones willing to push boundaries, trust their instincts, and turn ideas into something tangible. My work is rooted in helping artists and creatives strengthen their voice, refine their vision, and bring bold ideas fully to life.

For me, creativity isn't just about fitting into molds. It's about creating something meaningful enough to leave a lasting mark.

Autumn Shae Studio

The home for  my work as an artist, educator, strategist, and creative partner.

Today, my work lives under Autumn Shae Studio, a creative practice dedicated to artist development, creative direction, music coaching, and strategic support for independent artists. Through one-on-one mentorship, creative partnerships, and future educational initiatives, the goal remains the same: helping artists build sustainable creative lives without losing what makes their work unique.

In The Works

love me like i love new york.jpg

I'm currently creating Love Me Like I Love New York, a dance floor love letter to the electric highs and gritty lows of life, love, and self-expression.

Inspired by my love for the city I call home, I began writing the project while feeling deeply homesick and navigating a life-altering breakup that forced me to rediscover who I was. Through soulful house, hip hop, and nostalgic disco influences, the album explores feminine power, vulnerability, movement, heartbreak, and the beauty of choosing yourself again and again.

Creating this project continues to remind me of the vulnerable work artistry asks of us. As creatives, we have to dig deep. We can't ignore parts of ourselves that hurt, evolve, long, dream, or break open...because that's often where the most meaningful art begins.

Being an artist myself deeply shapes the way I approach music coaching, artist support, and artist development. I understand the courage creativity asks of us not just from the outside looking in, but from lived experience.

With love & grit,
